Vinothek Fass Severin Riesling 1997, Nikolaihof is an exceptional Austrian Riesling from Wachau, crafted by one of Austria's most historic and respected wineries. Nikolaihof is renowned for its traditional approach, long aging, and wines with impressive purity, minerality, and aging potential.

The 1997 vintage is a rare vinothek selection, aged for an extended period in a large old wooden barrel, Fass St. Severin. This long maturation imparts depth, complexity, and an exceptionally elegant structure to the wine, while preserving the characteristic freshness of Riesling.

In the glass, the wine reveals subtle aromas of ripe yellow fruits, dried apricot, beeswax, herbs, honey, and wet stone. The taste is concentrated, mineral, and precise, with vibrant acidity, saline elegance, and a long, noble finish.
