Description

Zacapa 23 Solera Rum was created in 1976 in the highlands of Guatemala, where it is distilled from fresh sugar cane before aging at 17 °C. Zacapa 23 rum ages in white oak barrels. The result is a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.

This rum offers a variety of aromas including caramel, vanilla, and cocoa, combined with layers of mysterious aromas from rums aged in different barrels; notes of caramelized Brazilian nuts and roasted hazelnuts from sherry casks and notes of caramelized banana and dried hazelnut from bourbon casks. In addition to a richness of aromas, Zacapa 23 Solera rum also boasts a wide range of flavors: honey, dried fruits, nutmeg, leather, and tobacco with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced with a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger.
