Description

Zacapa 23 Solera rum was created in 1976 in the mountainous region of Guatemala, where it is distilled from fresh sugarcane before aging at a temperature of 17 °C. Zacapa 23 rum is aged in white oak barrels. The result is a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years.

This rum offers a variety of aromas including caramel, vanilla, and cocoa, combined with layers of enigmatic scents from rums aged in different barrels; notes of caramelized Brazilian nuts and roasted hazelnuts from the sherry barrels, and hints of caramelized banana and dried hazelnut from the bourbon barrels. In addition to its rich aromas, Zacapa 23 Solera rum also boasts a wide range of flavors including honey, dried fruits, nutmeg, leather, and tobacco, with notes of coffee and vanilla, balanced by a spicy touch of cinnamon and ginger.
