Description

The grapes have 4 days of skin contact and ferment spontaneously. Zelen is the most famous grape variety from the Vipava Valley. The wine is made using the traditional method for the region, which requires initial fermentation in open vats, and then later transferred to large barrels. The wine is complex with herbal nuances, tight and attractive for lovers of this style.

The vineyards are located in the village of Dolanci in the Branik Valley, in Vipavska Brda. Before World War II, it was an administrative part of Vipava; after 1956, it was officially recognized as a region in Karst. They are planted with Pinella, Zelen, Vitovska Grganja, Ošip, Čedajc, Pokalca, Ribolla, Refosco and Picolit. The winery is entirely biodynamic.
