Gesellmann

Gesellmann

First documented in 1719, the winery is one of the traditional and leading wineries in Central Burgenland. Today, it is managed by Albert and his wife Silvia, covering 50 hectares of the best vineyards around the village of Deutschkreutz. Albert's father, Engelbert Gsellmann, as one of the pioneers of Burgenland, planted some of the first Merlot and Cabernet vineyards in the early 80s, laying the foundation for Gsellmann's wine icons “Opus Eximium” and “Bella Rex”. Due to meticulous selection, they use only perfect grapes, and that is what makes their wines so special. Albert Gsellmann's masterpiece is undoubtedly the wine called “G”.
