Kracher Winery is located in "Seewinkel" in the Austrian province of Burgenland. The area is approximately 20 km wide and stretches along the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl. It is a vast plain with countless shallow lakes of various sizes scattered throughout. Most of these lakes, including the largest, Lake Neusiedl, are less than five feet deep. This unusual terrain is often covered in dense fog, adding to the special charm of the region.

Kracher Winery specializes in producing fantastic sweet wines such as Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese.

From the grape varieties Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat Ottonel, and occasionally Zweigelt, Kracher Winery creates over 15 different Trockenbeerenauslese in two different styles.

"Zwischen den Seen" ("Between the Lakes") is the name for those wines that mature in large wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks and showcase the classic style of the region. Wines from the "Nouvelle Vague" line are vinified in new barriques. They are characterized by depth, taste, and persistence.

Now Gerhard Kracher manages the family winery with the same dedication and the same dynamism as his father.

The assortment of what is undoubtedly the most famous Austrian winery includes not only the world-renowned Trockenbeerenauslese, but also Beerenauslese, Auslese, Eiswein, and small quantities of dry white and red wine.
