NAKED GROUSE is not just a blend of malts. Achieving its flavor also requires the right casks, sought throughout Scotland. Casks that have the strength of character to get the most out of what they are intended for.
The concept of NAKED GROUSE is for the contents of the bottle to speak for themselves. This is why it has no label, only a subtle embossed image of the grouse.
Behind the distinctive whiskey lies not only the alcohol content, but also the character of the content. NAKED GROUSE is the masterpiece of the Master Distiller.
By selecting different single malt aged whiskies from famous distilleries such as Highland Park, Glenturret and The Macallan, he blends them and leaves them to mature for about 6 months in new casks until they reach the perfect taste.
The casks used are first-fill, have never contained whisky, only dark Oloroso sherry, which remains in the wood fibers long after the liquid has disappeared.
